An urban vertical house that uses its facade as a screen to create a sense of privacy within an increasingly dense neighborhood. Its jagged facade creates a sense of intrigue and acts as both an invitation to look further while simultaneously denying the viewer the whole story…

The story continues … the back facade carries on in its austerity and mystique from the main front of the house; a tall black marble facade hides the back entrance door within yet announces it simultaneously with dim lighting and a subtle protrusion. The dining room, that has a main back view with an expansive glass facade, takes cues from the jagged facade in the front and is protected via planting at its floor. The whole back of the house is raised 1m from the street level to retain a sense of privacy.
