We were asked to revamp the offices of a branding agency to fit their identity that is inspired from the world of magic and wonder. After being asked to preserve the existing classical elements in the space from archway and columns, we decided to use those elements to create a conversation between the beauty of the classics with the new contemporary/industrial design feel. We opted for a white palette with injections of black metal accents.
Starting with the entrance lobby where clients enter and directly need to be inspired we created a lobby of back to back mirrors that create infinite reflections with a floating bench and a backlit signage of the agency’s logo. The crown molding in the celling was preserved and contemporary flush lights were installed in different sizes to reflect the idea of a sky full of lights.
The meeting room where ideas are discussed had to leave an impression on the clients, having that in mind we created a pattern on the floor inspired from the 60’s and finished off the design with an industrial retail inspired twist. We designed a sliding door with linear grooved glass encased in black metal which allows the natural light to flow inwards while maintaining a private space.
The working area was kept simple with a key element which is the library wall which was designed in a playful and functional manner using the tones and material used in the whole space throughout. To inject the industrial feel, we opted for poured concrete floors throughout the office spaces.
